Because we want to become more like Christ, we therefore want to know God more clearly, love God more dearly, and follow God more nearly. We want to conform our thoughts, words, deeds, desires, wills, and inclinations to so resemble our Lord's, that people will bear witness to our lives and be compelled to give praise to our Father in Heaven.
